On Friday, December 9, 2011, Residents, Pattaya people and The Sanctuary Wong Amat Staff put rice and dry food to 108 new ordained monks at the Sanctuary Castle, Soi Pattaya-Naklua 12 to celebrate to King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) 84th birthday anniversary. This ritual includes the ceremonial ritual of the Buddhist and the Brahmins. The objective is to give blessing to His Majesty the king. The belief for this ritual is that any sacred body will come to give blessing of His Majesty. In addition, it\\\'s good opportunity for the public to come and worship for the prosperity of the visitors.

This year, 2011, Loy Krathong festival is on November 10.
Loy Krathong day each year in calendar is different. This is because it's using lunar calendar. It's on full moon day of 12th Thai Lunar month. On this day, the river can be seen the reflection of the moon light shining down. What a beautiful scene!
Loy krathong objective is to show appreciation of water that give us alive to our water consumption, water usage. Also, it's good opportunity to socialise and have a party.

The Sanctuary Wong Amat is in trend for this festival as well. We organize this event for residents and family to make their own Kratong and join Thai Loy Krathong tradition. And asked for forgiveness. And pray to the goddess. Also, there is dancing performance from Pothisamphan school student and invite you to enjoy dinner together at our private beach.
